Celebrity Edge

The first of its fleet—the Edge class ships are being designed with future-forward concepts challenging scientific advancements. Featuring Eden, a three-story multi-sensory event space that is completely wrapped in glass, it’s beyond your wildest imagination and connects guests to the stunning outside world. With 11,800 square feet of interactive space, Eden is the largest venue of its kind. Designed by award-winning architect Scott Butler and world-famous industrial designer, art director, and visual genius Patricia Urquiola, it’s guaranteed to be a transformative experience. However, this is not the only architectural conquest—the Magic Carpet is the first cantilevered space that acts as a moving platform on the outside of the ship, traveling up and down 13 floors. Depending on which floor, it’s purpose changes, making it a bar, a space for live music, a restaurant, or an extension of the deck space. Roughly the size of a tennis court, it fits 100 people and is ideal for meetings, open-air dining, and more. We can’t wait to explore this cutting-edge ship, set to embark December of 2018.
